Unit Overview

• From Seed to Plant, Egg to Adult introduces students to the life cycles of plants and animals.  Students will classify seeds by properties, plant seeds, care for plants, observe and record plant growth, and participate in classroom projects.  Students will also observe the life cycle of a ladybug and participate in the care of a living creature.  Integrated hands-on math activities are also included in this kit.

• Ladybug coupons will be in your kit at delivery and take up to 3 weeks for delivery after sending coupon in for larva to arrive.  Please call us if you need to change shipment to an earlier or later date.  This kit can only be ordered September, October, and April-June due to the availability of the ladybug larva.

Scheduling and Science Kit Ordering Information

• This unit may take from seven to nine weeks to complete depending upon the goals of the teacher and interests of the students.
• Teachers in Cattaraugus and Allegany counties request the kits from us, and the couriers deliver the kits to the schools.  Teachers have up to six weeks to complete each of the learning experiences.  Once the teachers complete the learning experiences provided with the math and science kits, the kits are then sent back to us so we can refurbish them and send them out again when they are requested.  **If you need additional time to complete your kit, please contact 716-376-8272 so we can accommodate an extension.
